Amazon.com - Not a fan site, obviously, but if you're having trouble finding DQ8 in stores now that it's not a new game, Amazon.com might be the way to go. Also, supporting other releases in the Dragon Quest series is never a bad idea, since hopefully that means they'll keep translating the games.
